World class squash comes to Shropshire Squash Club
One very fine Saturday in 2018 we welcomed Nick Matthew (OBE) and Josh Masters to our club. Most/all will know of their arrival which turned out to be the most momentous day in this club's 40 year history. More than 130 members/ juniors/ friends attended the event.
There was some frank Q&A with Nick highlighting his passion for the game and his drive and determination which made him world number 1. Play a pro sessions were a success but the highlight had to be the opportunity to watch, at first hand, world class competitive squash on our courts.

As a club we are indebted ot our event sponsors; Morris's, Birford, Hometyre and Andy/Jayne Kirk as well as the time and effort put in by many within the club to ensure the event was such a success.
Its the old cliche.......'You had to be there' .......and from my perspective as chair of the club it will be one on my lasting memories. Graham Moore.
